Engagement G4-26 & DMA
inpEV articulates the chain links and interacts with society to increase knowledge about the SCL and develop awareness on preserving the environment
inpEV's mobilization and awareness actions go beyond the contact with people and organizations directly involved in the disposal of empty crop protection packages, reaching out to various strategic audiences. By means of the Clean Field Environmental Education Program (PEACL - Programa de Educação Ambiental Campo Limpo), for example, the Institute promotes debates on environmental preservation with younger generations. By means of the Clean Field National Day (DNCL - Dia Nacional do Campo Limpo), inpEV stimulates the celebration of consistent annual results of the System and reinforces visibility of all actions. G4-26
inpEV also participates actively in sector discussions and follows federal, state and municipal bills that may impact SCL. The intent is to act in a preventive fashion and collaborate with improvement suggestions based on the practical experience acquired since its foundation. This challenge has grown mainly since the National Policy for Solid Waste was passed in 2010, which sponsored legislative changes in various public spheres. In 2014, 40 bills were monitored.
