In 2014, more than 92,000 people across Brazil celebrated, together with inpEV, the tenth DNCL edition. The official opening ceremony of these celebrations occurred during the Agricultural Inputs Distributor's Association Congress (Andav - Associação dos Distribuidores de Insumos Agropecuários), at the Institute's booth with live broadcasting by TV Terra Viva and by the internet.
DNCL is celebrated every year on August 18 by the central stations and offers different activities:
- Open Doors: the receiving units open their doors to neighboring communities to show the role of SCL. In 2014, this action involved 112 receiving units, which held workshops and awareness talks, among other activities.
- DNCL in Schools: participating schools conduct pep rallies, theater plays and drawing exhibits, among other activities related to environmental conservancy that stimulate the involvement of children and youth. 48 schools participated. Educators were able to enroll the actions or projects of their students focusing on the environment using the DNCL website (www.dianacionaldocampolimpo.org.br). Over 6,000 people voted to pick the best projects.
- DNCL University: talks, workshops and activities in universities and technical schools.
- Field Day: presentations and material delivery to farmers on the importance of reverse logistics and about the triple wash.
- Community action: actions to sponsor environmental improvements in the city or community, such as cleaning or maintenance of public squares and river margins.
