To reinforce its institutional image and increase engagement on the topic of correct disposal of empty post-consumption crop protection packages, inpEV devised, in 2014, new vehicles and forms of dialog. one of the strategies was the publication of three public reports in Exame magazine on SCL and its benefits towards sustainability. one of them was broadcast in the special Sustainability Guide edition.
With the purpose of increasing interaction with the public interested in inpEV's actions, the Institute reinforced its presence throughout the year on social networks as a means of communicating its activities and strengthening relationships. Facebook and Instagram were used by the Institute and by DNCL participants, for example, and inpEV reinforced the posts on its exclusive channel on YouTube (www.youtube.com/user/inpevbrasil ).
In its dialog with communication media, the Institute represents an important spokesperson on sustainability topics related with the reverse logistics of packaging materials. Between 2013 and 2014, the total number of articles published on inpEV grew from 4,600 to 5,400, which represents an average of 14.8 a day.
Participation in the largest agribusiness events, fairs, congresses and discussion forums complements the relationship initiatives with the links of the system. From January to December, the Institute was present in 118 events.

In 2014, inpEV received the first Statesman Homero Pereira Agribusiness Merit Award, granted by the Rural Development, Supply, Cattle and Agriculture Committee and the Board of Directors of the House of Representatives, which awards public or private institutions or citizens who carry out work or actions focusing on the agricultural sector.
The Institute was also a finalist of the 2014 Agrow Awards in the category Best Stewardship Programme for the pioneering initiative that resulted in the correct disposal of more than 1,200 tons of crop protection products prohibited by law, mainly BHC, which was stored in farmer properties in Paraná.
The action was done by the Paraná State Secretary of the Environment and two organizations linked to it - the Paraná Water Institute and the Paraná Environmental Institute -, besides the Paraná Institute of Rural Extension and Technical Assistance (Emater). The initiative involved Paraná municipalities, inpEV, the Paraná State Cooperative Organization (Ocepar) and the Faep System (Paraná State Agricultural Federation).
The same action was selected for the second edition of the Agricultural Sustainable Management publication, organized by the Sustainability area of the Ministry of Agriculture, Cattle and Supply (MAPA) Strategic Management Assistance, which propagates good practices.
